-Virtual and Vanity Domains- A Virtual Domain is a domain name, such as "example.com", associated with a directory of files in your hosting account. Each domain has its own unique IP address, which is used to provide access to those files on the Web, as well as to provide virtual mailboxes, virtual FTP, and other services. A Vanity Domain, of the form "name.example.com", is also known as a subdomain. Because it exists as part of a regular domain, there is no cost to register such a name. |
